Models are accustomed to focusing on how they look. It’s about the external. Many times, you’re staring directly into camera. In fact, it’s all about you! But, a picture is just one moment in time. It tells a story, a bigger story and must convey a message. From an actor’s perspective, we focus on something entirely different. We focus on the internal. There’s preparation and specific questions to ask ourselves if we’re in a scene. The story is more than a minute usually. It can be 30 seconds, 30 minutes, an hour or 3 hours. Your story is part of a bigger story.
In this workshop, both models and beginning young actors will learn how to transition to camera and create an inner life. It will not only help you if you’d like to be in commercials, tv, film and streaming media; but, it will make your modeling pictures more engaging.
Register early, as we know this will fill. We’re keeping this virtual to accommodate young print models and beginner actors from anywhere. And, we’ll limit attendance. Should demand be high, we’ll divide this workshop by ages.
