Something magical is going to happen this Fall. ATNY has the absolute pleasure to bring the 12-Time Tony Award Nominated SPONGEBOB the Musical, along with some Original Broadway Cast members and Producers, to talented Youth performers in the Tri-State Area. Dance, Vocals, and Acting Rehearsals will be held in two States: NY (Midtown Manhattan) for all city-based performers; and NJ (Ridgewood) for our NJ based performers. It all culminates in a FULL Professional Production at a historic theatre right in NYC’s Broadway district.
This is a highly professional program with the best of the best at the helm. Add to that the now-iconic songs of the show written by the biggest pop stars, along with all the inventive choreography that made it such a hit, and you have A SUPERB opportunity for young up and coming performers; nothing else like this exists. Don’t confuse the title with the Nickelodeon Show. THIS BROADWAY MUSICAL IS NOT FOR THE TOTS – and ALL artists will be featured.
Performances will be in the NYC Broadway Theatre District, with rehearsals in both NYC and Ridgewood, NJ, depending on where you live. This Rising Cast is open to Ages 8 to 12 in NYC and 8 to 15 in NJ. The best part? No auditions for the Rising Cast – you may register directly on this site.
NJ REHEARSALS: Sundays, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (ATNY reserves the right to add an extra hour as we get closer to show dates.
NYC PERFORMANCES: January 23rd & 24th, 2027

CARL ANTHONY TRAMON (CAT), Broadway Producer, Dir. He’s been with ATNY since 2019, and has directed and co-produced ATNY’s hit productions, Matilda, Hairspray, Anything Goes, School of Rock, Mean Girls, Newsies, Legally Blonde, Bring It On, Into the Woods, and most recently, A Chorus Line. All shows have been met with great acclaim. On Broadway, CAT has co-produced Matilda, Sweeney Todd, Smash, Be More Chill, Waiting For Godot, Once Upon a One More Time, among others.
