PRIVATE COMMERCIALS SELF TAPE WORKSHOP (MMG TALENT – AGES 7 – 14)

Are self tapes tripping you up?  In this private workshop, specialized for just MMG Talent, we will tackle the tricky topic head on. All actors will be sent commercial copy ahead of time, and we’ll give you a simulated audition with adjustments feedback.  And, of course, educate both you and your parents how to give a proper and professional self tape submission, increasing your chances of booking jobs!

There are many types of on camera commercials, scripted, improvisation, spokesperson and more.  Sometimes you’re on your own and sometimes with another partner in a 2 person audition.  Do you know how best to handle this?  What do casting directors look for?  What role does improvisation play in commercials and what do casting directors look for.  We’ll educate you in how to give a natural and engaging audition with pacing, tone and energy and how best to use your audition circle, and of course, what a good audition tape looks like….

If you have personality, it’s time to use it and learn the wonderful things you can do with commercial copy.   By the end of this short 2 hour workshop, you’ll be more educated, feel more confident and have more knowledge in all facets of commercial self tapes.
