Weekly TV/Film Classes Each Month: 4-Weeks, Every Thursday, 7:00PM-8:30PM EST, starts March 4th (Includes Network Industry Hour on fourth Thursday of every month, 7:00pm-8:00pm). A special ATNY Ongoing Class to keep you honed and audition ready!
Weeks 1 – 3 Each Month: TV/Film Audition Technique Class will offer deeper insight into truth-centered expression and realism. Primary focus is on Character and Emotional development, as well internalization of scripted material. Within the elements of scene study and dramatic/comedic performance, additional focus is given to consciously manipulating elements of breath, beat, and pace, as well as memorization techniques. This will include an industry showcase on Week 3.
Week 4 Each Month: Industry Networking Hour (7:00pm-8:00pm EST). This is included for Ongoing Monthly TV/Film Class registrants and will feature host-driven interviews of various industry professionals; agents, managers, filmmakers, casting directors, actors, producers, musicians, and more! The hour will culminate to an open-question forum, during which attendees can participate with their own questions and conversation topics for our industry guests. Non-monthly actors may register for this day only by phone.
March 25th Industry: TV/Film Casting Director Caroline Sinclair Casting: Caroline casts for films, theater, commercials and music videos. She just finished casting the feature BLIND starring Demi Moore, Alec Baldwin and Dylan McDermott as well as the indie feature THIS IS NOWHERE. Currently she’s working the new tv series “Gravesend’ on Amazon Prime and has several upcoming projects including the indie feature TEMPORARY HERO as well as lots of commercials. Recent projects include: Sidewalk Traffic, Friends and Romans, Natural Selection, Bad Hurt, Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn, The Suspect, Broadways Finest, L.L, Zerosome, One Fall, Restless (won the Prize of the Guild of German Art House Cinemas in Berlin), The House Is Burning (premiered at the Cannes Film Festival), The Living Wake starring Jesse Eisenberg (won awards at the CineVegas, Woodstock & Austin Film Festivals), Frank the Rat and Fast Food Fast Women (nominated for the Golden Palm and won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the Cannes Film Festival).
