You want to be a lead in a musical theatre production? Then, you need vocals that can carry the production.  In this new one-hour vocal series, all young actors will perform lead songs and ensemble numbers, as we learn what it takes to master your broadway voice.

ATNY provides accompaniment, you provide songs!  You can pick your own lead song you’d like to master or work on a broadway song you’ve always wanted to perform.  We’ll cover the following:

• Belting & Mix Voice– safe techniques for powerful Broadway-style singing
• Acting Through Song– connecting emotionally and telling a story vocally
• Vocal Health– protecting the voice during demanding performances
• Repertoire Building– picking songs appropriate for your voice type
• Audition Skills– preparing cuts, slating, and callback techniques
• Ensemble & Harmony– blending and singing in groups

This is a one-hour class that will help you immensely in our Spring MainStage or Junior Productions, under the direction of Carl Anthony Tramon.  A great class to also take with your broadway favs, so invite your friends, and let’s progress together.
