ATNY will be bringing a new musical to the Broadway stage! Held with high Broadway acclaim and overwhelming professional reviews, ATNY’s Main Stage Productions are the strongest of any educational facility in NYC.
So, what’s the production? ATNY is down to 2 wonderful considerations (Descendants & Bring it On). We will announced which production formally within a week. Whether you love either or both, we are asking you register to audition now. Once we have a firm decision, you may choose to continue to audition or not. Either production will be magnificent!
Join ATNY and actual Broadway Producers, Directors, Choreographers and Musical Directors as they propel young performers through an amazing musical theatre experience, where every single young artist is featured. Run by Broadway veteran, Carl Anthony Tramon (Matilda, Mr. Saturday Night, Be More Chill, Sweeney Todd, Once Upon a One More Time, Rocket Boys), the young artist will commit to excellence with ATNY. No matter what level you are at currently, you will leave exponentially better – all while having an absolute BLAST and memorable experience. If you’ve participated in any of ATNY’s past full length shows, i.e., Matilda, Hairspray, School of Rock, Anything Goes, Mean Girls, Newsies, High School Musical, Legally Blonde, you know this will be an opportunity of a lifetime. AUDITIONS (VIRTUAL): January 29th, 30th or February 1st Virtually (Please bring 16 – 32 bars of selected song).
CALLBACKS (IN PERSON): February 8th (NJ), February 9th (NYC). Scenes and Dance.
*If unable to attend one of the audition days, we will invite you to callbacks. If unable to attend either, please send ATNY a vocal audition tape at Todd@ActorsTechniqueNY.com.
PERFORMANCE DATES: Saturday Shows: 2pm & 7pm / Sunday Shows: 1pm & 6pm
May 31st/June 1st, 2025 – NYC or NJ Cast TBD
June 7th/June 8th, 2025 – NYC or NJ Cast TBD
June 14th/15th, 2025 – Discretionary Weekend of Performance TBD, not required.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (Approx):
- New Jersey Casts will be ‘as called’ Fridays 4pm – 7pm, Sundays 2:00pm – 6:30pm.
- New York City Casts ‘as called’ Saturdays/Sundays, 1:30pm – 6pm
*Actors will be called as needed for above rehearsal times. Your director will keep you posted on your specific rehearsal schedule. Conflict Sheets for rehearsals and performances will be given at callbacks and should be completed before final casts are selected. If you are also taking an ATNY TV/Film Class that conflicts with rehearsals, you are excused from rehearsals for that specific time. You will not be penalized.
