Note: ATNY reserves the right to combine Teens & Kids Classes on Saturdays if, in its discretion, it is warranted. In such case, the day will follow the Teens schedule.
Our Kids Program is a wonderful way to spend the day with other serious young actors. It’s a popular intensive. The full day consists of 2 Core Classes with 2 Exclusive ATNY Coaches, all highly credentialed, with the right temperament to enjoy a younger actor group. Our actors will partner through the day, becoming scene partners, helping each other with improvisation, and enjoy the camaraderie during lunchtime.
- 11:00am – 12:25pm: On-Camera Act & Audition Technique
- 12:35pm* – 2:00pm: On-Camera Audition & Improvisation Technique
*There is a 10-minute snack/bathroom break between the classes.
Lessons from one class tie into the other, and students –consciously or unconsciously- take aspects of what they learn in one class, and apply it to another. As their approach continues to evolve and progress through the influences of each class, their education experience becomes more and more comprehensive.
