A CHORUS LINE TEEN EDITION FOR OUR BROADWAY RISING STARS – New Jersey cast will rehearse in Ridgewood, N.J. with final performances in New York City, Broadway District.
Rehearsals: Fridays, 4:30 – 7:30pm and Sundays as called, 2pm – 6pm
We know you’re anxious to begin, as we are, but we’ve simply been overwhelmed with casting the MainStage Production and working with the snow conditions, that we’ve had to push our beginning out to the 15th.
A Chorus Line was a massive award winner, securing the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, 9 Tony Awards (including Best Musical, Book, Score), Drama Desk Awards, and a special Tony for longest-running shows, making it one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals. Its storyline is about 17 dancers auditioning for 8 spots in a Broadway Show. But, as you would have guessed, it dives bigtime into their lives, dreams and struggles, with iconic songs such as ‘What I Did for Love’. It’s about the love of dance as they face the realities of aging out of the profession.
A huge fav among Broadway actors, ATNY is bringing this delightful and intense Broadway hit back to the stage in both MainStage and Younger Performer Productions. If you dance, you can’t miss this one. If you sing, you can’t miss this one. If you LOVE BROADWAY, this show is for you.
