ATNY Kids Programming has a change for Winter! Now, we’re starting at NOON, and are combining our On-Camera & Improvisation Classes into a 3 Hour Intensive, making our Kids programming more efficient and parent time friendly! ATNY’s Core Full Day Kids Intensive nows consists 2 imperative classes: On-Camera TV/Film and Improvisation Training. We ask you have a snack or early lunch and be ready for class at Noon.
- On-Camera TV/Film Acting, Noon – 1:30pm
- Improvisation for TV/Film, 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Elective Classes: (3:00pm – 4:00pm): Electives are not included in the 2-core class full day intensive. However, You may add an elective to your day!
- Saturdays: Pop & Broadway Vocals
- Sundays: Street Jazz Dance!
Lessons from each class tie into each other, and students –consciously or unconsciously- take aspects of what they learn in one class, and apply it to another. As their approach continues to evolve and progress through the influences of each class, their education experience becomes more and more comprehensive. The On Camera Class will teach you script analysis, naturalism and all the fundamentals you need to tackle copy. Then, we’re make sure you’re fearless in our improvisation classes. Each of these classes is imperative, and as industry will tell you, a must.
Top off the experience by enjoying one of ATNY’s elective classes, should you decide to register for that as well. It’s optional, which is why we’re experimenting with adding it as the final class for the day for Kids. The learning experience is more fun with friends, and your child will make them. ATNY interns and admin monitor the hallway and carefully watch all kids.
