Exclusive to higher-aged teens (15 & Up), this class offers a deeper insight into truth-centered expression and realism. Primary focus is on the feeling behind the words, the internalization of emotions, and the ability to take direction from a director.  The class also explores instinctive behavior in relation to the actors’ surroundings by identifying sensory ques and grounding oneself. Additional focus is given to consciously manipulating elements of breath, beat, and pace.

To help with those currently auditioning by tapes or in person, we’ll explore the given circumstances, play with the backstory, and ramp up necessary conflict and intensity for your character and the scene.  You’ll learn how to approach the copy in a more interesting way.
